Why am I not receiving push notifications instantly?

RSI Alert checks your configured ticker limits every 5 minutes during market hours (Monday–Friday). In addition, all price and indicator data from Yahoo Finance is delayed by approximately 15 minutes. This means the maximum delay between a real market event and a notification you receive is around 20 minutes. Notifications are not sent in real time — this app is designed for medium- to long-term strategies, not for day trading.

I changed a limit — why did I not get a notification even though the value is already outside the new limit?

This is expected behaviour. RSI Alert only sends a notification when a value crosses a threshold — meaning it moves from inside the limit to outside for the first time. If the value was already outside your new limit at the moment you changed it, no immediate notification is sent. You will receive a notification only after the value returns to the normal range and then crosses the threshold again. This prevents duplicate alerts after every settings change.

Is the financial data real-time?

No. All price and indicator data (RSI, RVI) is sourced from Yahoo Finance and is delayed by approximately 15 minutes. RSI Alert does not provide real-time market data.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple. To cancel, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → RSI Alert and tap "Cancel Subscription". Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again after that, and you can continue using the paid features until the period expires.

How do I delete my data?

To have your data removed from our servers, please send a deletion request to support.rsialert@gmail.com. We will delete all data associated with your account within 30 days of receiving your request.

What is the difference between RSI and RVI?

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) measures the speed and magnitude of recent price changes to identify overbought or oversold conditions. The Relative Volatility Index (RVI) measures the direction of volatility on a scale from 0 to 100. Both indicators are often used together to confirm trading signals.

Warum erhalte ich Push-Benachrichtigungen nicht sofort?

RSI Alert prüft deine konfigurierten Schwellenwerte alle 5 Minuten während der Handelszeiten (Montag–Freitag). Zusätzlich sind alle Kurs- und Indikatordaten von Yahoo Finance um ca. 15 Minuten verzögert. Das bedeutet: die maximale Verzögerung zwischen einem echten Marktereignis und deiner Benachrichtigung beträgt etwa 20 Minuten. Benachrichtigungen werden nicht in Echtzeit gesendet — diese App ist für mittel- bis langfristige Strategien ausgelegt, nicht für Day-Trading.

Ich habe einen Grenzwert geändert — warum kam keine Benachrichtigung, obwohl der Wert bereits außerhalb liegt?

Das ist gewolltes Verhalten. RSI Alert sendet nur dann eine Benachrichtigung, wenn ein Wert eine Schwelle durchbricht — also von innen nach außen wechselt. Lag der Wert zum Zeitpunkt deiner Änderung bereits außerhalb des neuen Limits, wird keine sofortige Benachrichtigung gesendet. Du erhältst erst dann wieder eine Meldung, wenn der Wert in den Normalbereich zurückgekehrt ist und die Schwelle danach erneut durchbricht. Das verhindert doppelte Alarme nach jeder Einstellungsänderung.

Sind die Finanzdaten in Echtzeit?

Nein. Alle Kurs- und Indikatordaten (RSI, RVI) stammen von Yahoo Finance und sind um ca. 15 Minuten verzögert. RSI Alert stellt keine Echtzeit-Marktdaten bereit.

Wie kündige ich mein Abonnement?

Abonnements werden ausschließlich über Apple verwaltet. Um zu kündigen, gehe zu Einstellungen → [Dein Name] → Abonnements → RSI Alert und tippe auf „Abonnement kündigen". Dein Abonnement bleibt bis zum Ende des aktuellen Abrechnungszeitraums aktiv — danach erfolgt keine weitere Abbuchung, und du kannst die kostenpflichtigen Funktionen bis zum Ablauf weiter nutzen.

Wie lösche ich meine Daten?

Um deine Daten von unseren Servern löschen zu lassen, sende bitte eine Anfrage an support.rsialert@gmail.com. Wir löschen alle mit deinem Konto verknüpften Daten innerhalb von 30 Tagen nach Eingang deiner Anfrage.

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen RSI und RVI?

Der Relative Strength Index (RSI) misst die Geschwindigkeit und Stärke aktueller Preisänderungen, um überkaufte oder überverkaufte Zustände zu identifizieren. Der Relative Volatility Index (RVI) misst die Richtung der Volatilität auf einer Skala von 0 bis 100. Beide Indikatoren werden häufig gemeinsam verwendet, um Handelssignale zu bestätigen.
